Quinten's Hair

OK, we know he was born with a lot of hair, but it just keeps getting longer and longer... This last picture was taken yesterday- It is so long that the whole curl thing it is doing was not intentional. And I'll admit, in the picture it looks stupid. I promise it doesn't look as stupid in person. His hair is the first and sometimes only thing people comment on. I know he has a ton of hair, but he has a cute face too; let's focus on that for awhile... So, do you cut a two month old baby's hair or do you just let it grow?? I don't know. I've never done this whole boy thing before....

Don't cut it! I actually learned that there is a tradition in the south with boy babies...it's bad luck to cut their hair for the first year. Not that you have to go that long but let it grow for a bit.

Sorry i have no experience w/ the boy thing either. If i did, my train of thought would be, "In 15 years will he hate me for this picture, if the answer is yes then i would think about cutting it."

Yes, you do cut a 2 month old boys hair. I did it with Peyton. Boys are totally different than girls! then you can do the cute spikey w/ gel thing.

Being from the south... I've never heard of that tradition. I definitely cut hair before 1 year old. If it is longer than you want, cut it. It always looks tons better once it is cut and you ask yourself why you waited so long, at least that is what happens to me. And he does have a very cute face. :)

Don't listen to Charlotte! But I do think you should let it grow a little longer and let him sport the faux hawk. And he makes the funniest faces.

I love the hair Cori. I can't believe how much it has grown in just a couple of weeks. How cute is he!

Please don't cut it! :) Besides about 5 or 6 months babies who sleep on their back tend to get that bald patch in the back, so if he has longer hair on top you could do the classic "comb-over"!! ;)

I'm having the same trouble with Cole, but he's almost 18 months. My poor little baldy! Now that he has hair I'm getting lots of people telling me not to cut off his curls (his curls in back). However, I'm really going to be upset if I discover that I've accidentally let him have a mullet! I say you should do whatever you want! I'm going to cut Cole's after my sisters see it in person (in 2 weeks).

I love a man with a mohawk. I say cut the sides but leave the top. You won't be sorry. I promise.

LOL!! This is not Judie and George. This is Karen. But that might have been obvious from the comment.

He is so cute! I cut Ryan's hair when he was 3 weeks old. I wasn't a fan of the long hair, they look so manly with a nice trim. But....he's your baby do what YOU think is cute!

He's seriously the cutest little guy I have ever seen! I started trimming on my boys hair pretty early. Tanner tried having a mullet at a very young age- we just couldn't have that. But that curl on top is just darling.
